3. The purposes and legal basis for the processing of your personal data

We process your personal data in order to handle your inquiry. The processed data is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in The Danish Authority of Social Services and Housing.

We also process data with the sole purpose of carrying out statistical or scientific studies of significant importance to society and where such processing is necessary in order to carry out these studies. 

The processing of your personal data is based on Article 6 (1) (e) of the Data Protection Regulation.

If you have sent us sensitive information, it will be processed in accordance with Article 9 (2) (f) of the Data Protection Regulation.

If you have sent us information about criminal offenses, our processing is based on Section 8 (1) and Section 8 (2) (3) of the Danish Data Protection Act.

The purpose of processing Danish social security numbers is to unambiguously identify the data subject in accordance with Section 11 (1) of the Danish Data Protection Act.

When you access the websites of Nordic Sustainable Construction, we collect information about your IP address.

The processing takes place by us logging your IP address. The processing is based on the data protection regulation's article 6, paragraph 1, letter e. The IP address is deleted after 30 days.

We only pass on information about you if it is necessary for the task to be completed or if we are required to do so. If we share your information, you will be notified. As a public authority, we are subject to the rules on access to documents. If we receive a request for access to documents in the case in which your personal data is personal data is included, we will normally be required to disclose the information, unless the information is confidential.

We are subject to supervision by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Housing and Senior Citizens, The Danish Data Protection Agency, and Rigsrevisionen (who audits the Danish public accounts) and we may be obliged to hand over information about you.

6. Retention of your personal data

Your personal data in Nordic Sustainable Construction (The Danish Authority of Social Services and Housing) electronic case and document handling system will be transferred to the National Archives in accordance with the rules in the archive legislation after the end of the record period in which the case has been closed. For a period thereafter, we will continue to have access to search for the information in a historical version of the journal period in the system.

It should be noted in this context, that archival purposes are to be regarded as important public interests.

8. How to complain

Before you submit a complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency, you must contact The Danish Authority of Social Services and Housing if you believe your data is being processed contrary to data protection rules.
